Butler County Bridge Tour--Bridge #11

From Bridge #10, return to 200th Street, and turn West (left).  Follow this backtop for about 7 miles over hills, through valleys, around curves, and past contented cows to Cole Creek Road.  Turn North (right) and travel 7 miles to 140th Street.  Turn East (right) onto 140th and follow it 2 miles to Ellis Road and Bridge #11.  Built in 1905 at a cost of $670.  It's a huge single arch bridge with an arch measuring 40 feet.

Follow Ellis Road North to Hwy. US-400 which will return you to El Dorado.
