Location: From Salina, take Hwy K-140 West aprox. 19 miles to the Jct of Hwys K-140 and K-141. Take Hwy K-141 South 2 miles to Ave 'K' (marked with sign), go 2 miles west on Ave 'K'.

Balanced
rocks are a fascinating work of nature. There are two
balanced rocks in a 5 acre state park south west of Salina. The chances of
a stone ending up balanced on a pinnacle like this are incredibly small, and to
have two large examples so close together is pretty neat. The first one
(large photo) is south of the road, and the other one is located just north of
the road.
