This is a beautiful and quiet area.  It's just off of US Hwy 24, about half-way between Topeka and Manhattan, located on the southern edge of the Jeffrey Energy Center wildlife area.   The park is maintained by Western Resources (KPL), and is open from sunrise to sunset.  It has a picnic shelter, which can be reserved for groups, and flush toilets.  There are also three nature trails that vary in length.  Probably the most notable feature of the park is the silo mural.  Painted by a local artist, it shows the history of the area, and is quite impressive.  Above photos are of the silo mural; the flower was along one of the trails.
